Where’s your happy place?

My happy place is my sofa. It fits the whole family on (just!) and we like to sit and watch films together – the only time when the kids are still and willing to be snuggled!

What’s your next home project?

I am currently in the process of renovating my home office. The smallest room in the house has been repurposed many times! When we bought the house in my twenties, it was my dressing room (it feels like such a luxury now looking back!). Later it was turned into a nursery for my daughter until she grew out of it, and it became a guest room. Now it’s my office and I am trying to create some order from the chaos of magazines, brochures, books, and ideas scribbled down on bits of paper!

What’s your home addiction?

Changing wall colours. I am a bit of a nightmare when it comes to picking paint colours, even variations of white! I have made a few mistakes with colour, not thinking about how light and colour can change throughout the day and I struggle to live with it if it’s not right. I have also been prone to hoarding picture frames that I’ve found in charity shops, for that project that never happens!
