About me My first job on an interiors magazine was as a sub editor on Homes & Gardens, and 25 years later, I’m back again, this time as houses editor. I’ve worked on most of the well-known interiors magazines and am also houses editor on Country Homes & Interiors. I have a passion for houses, and having written reader home features and art directed and styled photographic shoots for more than 20 years, know the subject pretty well!
My favourite places to shop My favourite independent shops are Priddy Essentials in Uppingham for beautiful artisan products and gorgeous fragrances and soaps, Baileys Home near Ross-on-Wye for its chic household merchandise, and on the high street Anthropologie for its lifestyley stores and eclectic clothing. My favourite decorating style is Scandi chic, but I’m also loving the deep tones combined with bold pops of colour that I’m increasingly seeing.
My style inspirations Designers that inspire me include Vanessa Arbuthnott and Zoe Glencross for their simple but stunning designs.
