M&S’s Percy Pig duvet sold out in 24 hours - it’s back in stock but you’ll have to act fast to get one
Percy Pig has become somewhat of a British icon - run, don't walk to snap him up for yourself
Why you can trust Ideal Home
Fans of Percy Pig will rejoice to learn that M&S is now stocking a Percy Pig duvet. But if you want to get your hands on a set you’ll have to act fast - because the range sold out 24 hours after its launch.
Percy Pig, is something of a cultural icon in the UK, and we’d bet you’d never think of best bedding and Percy Pig in the same sentence. What started off as a few tasty sweets, has seen M&S’s cute character don mugs, Christmas decorations and even an adorable Percy Pig pancake pan.
He’s a cute character and the duvet set makes an excellent choice of Christmas gift for your kids bedroom ideas this festive season. Luckily for you (and your little ones) the duvet is now back in stock, but with its popularity already proven, you’ll have to act now if you want to grab a set.
For the collection, M&S have teamed up with bedding specialists Night Lark to immortalise Percy forever.
Over the last year we’ve seen children’s bedroom decor adopt a more fun and playful style. Ikea’s SKOGSDUVA collection was all about transforming everyday furniture into something magical for example.
The Percy duvet is definitely embracing the playful side to duvet. With splashes of bold colour in hot pink, lime green and pastel pink, this duvet makes a statement. With reversible designs on each side, you’ll never get bored of Percy,
The stand out feature of this duvet is that the Percy Pig decor does not come as a bedding set - it’s the actual duvet. Night Lark, created the coverless duvet where no sheets are needed. They’re lightweight, home-washable and quick-drying.
The duvet is also made up of Smartfil fibres, created by recycled plastic bottles. The fibres are designed to retain their shape meaning your duvet stays cosy and comfy after every wash.
The Percy Pig coverless duvet is available in a 7 Tog and a 10.5 Tog - meaning choosing either a summer or winter option, depending on whether you’re a hot sleeper of course. The duvets are also available as singles and doubles, too. The single duvets comes with one pillowcase and the double comes with two.
The collection ranges between £60 and £75 which isn’t badly priced for a duvet. The main shortcoming is the lack of variety, given the duvet and bedding is combined. However, we sure you could add your favourite duvet cover if you fancied a break from the pig theme.
Percy Pig has earned a cult status here in the UK, and with M&S known for its high quality products, this duvet makes a great present for any little ones this Christmas.
