Actress Cate Blanchett is set to sell her stunning £9 million Sydney property. Take a look inside
The Hollywood actress is due to relocate to the US and has decided to part with her beautifully renovated Hunter Hills pad
Hollywood actress, Cate Blanchett is selling the beautiful Australian home she shares with her husband Andrew Upton for a cool £9 million.
The couple are selling their beautiful waterfront home where they have lived for the past decade.
After extensively renovating, they have turned the historic property into a high-spec industrial-style family home.
Inside, unique features including a huge stainless steel kitchen island, a custom-built steel staircase and polished concrete floors, give the property a luxurious look.
The actress and theatre producer bought Bulwarra, the historic sandstone mansion in 2005 and enlisted the help of architects Nadine Alwill and Stephen Lesiuk to create a tranquil, eco-friendly family retreat.
The home features custom joinery, an enormous cellar, a skylit dressing room, a huge home office with double height ceilings and even a dramatic sculptural centrepiece. Wow!
Set in 3,642sqm of land, the property also has a pool, pavilion, championship tennis court, trampoline platform,
guesthouse and direct river access. Just look at the immaculate gardens and stunning views...

Built in 1877, the building is located in Australia's oldest garden suburb, Hunters Hill. In 1904, the chairman of one of Australia's biggest heritage companies, Arnott's Biscuits, bought the home and since then it has changed hands only a few times.
Earlier this year the Blanchett-Uptons revealed that they were planning to relocate their family to the US, and, since they just adopted a baby girl - Edith Vivian Patricia - a sister to their three sons Dashiell, Roman and Ignatius - we think the timing couldn't be better!
The property is currently listed on Australian property site Domain.
