All that glitters: Strictly-inspired interiors that will add some glamour to your home
Love Strictly Come Dancing? Go for gold with glamorous decorating ideas inspired by the show
Are you a big fan of Strictly Come Dancing? Here at Housetohome we love nothing more than settling down to watch a bit of Tess and Claudia on Saturday nights. Love all the glitz and glamour of the show? From disco balls to feathers there are plenty of ways to embrace a little sequinned style into your home. Go on celebrate the new series with our top five Strictly-inspired interiors.
1. Lights, camera, action
Add a touch of Hollywood glamour with a huge floor lamp - go for a tripod base, it'll create a photo shoot feel. Choose button-backed chairs or sofas draped in linen for a touch of laid-back elegance. A vintage gramophone is perfect for blasting out some Strictly-inspired music.
2. Going for gold
Don't be afraid to channel your love of gold - if it is good enough for the Strictly studio, it's good enough for us. Think upscale elegance rather than 'footballers wives' flashy. Team gold-edged chairs and accessories with neutral fabrics and paint colours.
3. Time to celebrate
Want to see your name in lights? We think this huge LED floor lamp is the perfect alternative. Here, modern furniture and accessories can be brought to life with glamorous accessories such as the huge chandelier and sophisticated drinks trolley. And hey, if you can incorporate champagne into your decorating scheme then why not!?

4. Disco diva
Think you can't go for the Strictly-inspired look in your bedroom? Think again. This upscale space features no less than three disco balls suspended from the ceiling. Re-create the glamour of this bedroom with satin sheets, gold side tables and, of course, a bold collection of glitter balls. What's not to love?
5. Embrace colour
Work colour like they do in the Strictly studio with plenty of vibrant red, cobalt blue and a hint of gold. Choose a large laquered sideboard for a seriously sexy look and go for a gold metallic chair for added impact.
