Banish bad hair days with the new Dyson Supersonic hair dryer
Dyson have re-designed and launched yet another iconic homeware product and this time it's for your hair.
Yes, tech fans that's right, Dyson, a company already famous for their superbly-sucking vacuum cleaners and brilliantly blowing hot and cold fan systems have now turned their attention to more personal home care with the launch of their new Dyson SupersonicTM
hair dryer and given it their all-familiar state-of-the-art designer looks and sought after blowing power.
It's taken four years of secret scientific research to investigate the science of hair from root to tip, looking at 1010 miles of real human hair, and £50 million in development to bring us a hair dryer that is said to have a motor that is eight times faster than other hair dryers and half the weight* They tested the product on different hair types and built test rigs which mechanically simulate hair drying techniques - which can differ around the world.
Sir James Dyson says, "Hair dryers can be heavy, inefficient and make a racket. By looking at them further, we realised that they can also cause extreme heat damage to hair. I challenged Dyson engineers to really understand the science of hair and develop our version of a hair dryer, which we think solves these problems."
But a hair dryer that looks as super cool with mega blowing power like this doesn't come cheap. A Dyson Super Sonic will cost a hair-raising £299! But, for that hefty price tag, you'll get a hair dryer with intelligent heat control, helping to ensure hair isn't exposed to excessive temperature encouraging healthy hair and natural shine.
It also has acoustic silencers to keep the machine quiet, three engineered magnetic nozzle attachments to further control this airflow allowing you to achieve a range of different styles. Plus, multiple settings including constant cool to set your style; four heat settings, three airflow settings and a cold shot too. And let's face it you'll be investing in an ultimately chic piece of iconic technology to hang by your dressing table that you know will last and last.
The Dyson SupersonicTM will be available in the UK from June 2016 at John Lewis, Boots, and Selfridges, you can register your interest now at Dyson.co.uk
