Bring summer indoors with Designer's Guild's painterly wallpapers
Originally designed by hand, these wallpapers will bring the true spirit of summer indoors
We're seeing plenty of wallpaper collections inspired by nature this season, many of which follow the painterly trend that's really taking off for spring and summer. New for spring/ summer, Designer's Guild has come up trumps with a gorgeous and romantic wallpaper collection that will bring a summery vibrance to indoor spaces.
What is charming about Designer's Guild prints is that they all start life in its West London based
Head Office where they are painted by hand. Founder Tricia Guild explains that hand painting designs "imbues each
design with a character and integrity that is often lacking in designs
that are generated by computer."
Tricia's
philosophy for the brand has always remained constant. She says: "I was
always interested in creating a total lifestyle: a relationship between
different elements within a space. How one's walls react with our
curtains and furniture and accessories. It is a sort of alchemy and it
continues to fascinate me to this day."
The wallpapers are available at Brewers Home, Designer's Guild and various other stockists.
