Next and ercol announce new collaboration
Launching in autumn this year, Next has announced its most recent collaboration with heritage brand ercol
For nearly 100 years, ercol has been producing stunning furniture, with a true focus on design - design for comfort, design for function, design for beauty.
So imagine our delight when high street retailer Next announced that it has teamed up with this beautiful brand to create a timeless and sophisticated range of furniture for living, dining and the bedroom.
The new collection features 15 items of furniture, offering ‘high-quality design combined with functionality’, and boy is it beautiful.
Crafted from solid oak, each piece is typically ercol in design, with the paired back beauty of Scandinavian style – each item of furniture has a lightness to it thanks to the smooth turned legs and slim line look.
The Chesham living and dining range is comprised of six pieces – a media unit, shelving, sideboard and side table (our personal favourite), along with an extendable dining table and sleek mid-century style dining chairs.
To complement the Chesham range, the Burcott upholstery collection features a large and medium sofa, a snuggle sofa and chair so you can deck out your whole living room in style.
Available in a choice of three fabrics and accompanying geometric scatter cushions, this collection is sure to add that contemporary feel with a retro twist to any living room.

Moving into the bedroom, the Hartwell range is another triumph – a beautiful chest of drawers, bed and wardrobe. It creates, quite frankly, the bedroom dreams are made of.
Starting at £225 for the sidetable (we think it would double up perfectly as a bedside table too), this is one of the more affordable ercol collaborations. Topping out at £1350 for the large Burcott sofa, this collection is well worth the price tag thanks to the timeless style and craftsmanship.
Needless to say, we’re waiting with baited breath for its online release in August.
