Perfect for giving your home office or any other room a whole new look that won't break the bank. You can decorate everything from pen pots to furniture in no time at all.
Take a look at these simple projects for updating your home in a flash.
1. Pretty up glass vases
Wrap patterned paper around the bottle and tape in place at the back. Run some washi tape around the top of the paper and tie string around the bottle for a finishing touch.
2. Revamp a chair back
Update a plain chair with rainbow stripes. Carefully stick lengths of your chosen tape around the front of the chair and fold over to the back, trimming if necessary.

Variety of washi tapes, from £2.93 each, 3M Direct.
7. Make a bunting cake topper
Fold tabs of washi tape around twine then cut into triangles. Make two cuts at the top of paper straws and thread the twine through and let the bunting hang in place.
8. Update plain picture frames
Remove the back of a frame and stick strips of washi tape across the front, wrapping them around to the rear of the frame. Add a pretty print, replace the back and display on the wall.
9. Design a stylish craft station
Choose extra wide washi tape and stick to a magnetic knife rack to add pattern. This works well for storing all your favourite craft tools.
10. Pretty up cork tiles
Make your own pin board using self-adhesive cork tiles. Create a geometric patten with washi tape and stick to the wall.
