The RHS is the UK’s leading gardening charity and has five gardens – Harlow Carr in North Yorkshire, Hyde Hall in Essex, Rosemoor in Devon, Wisley in Surrey and Bridgewater in Greater Manchester – and members get unlimited entry to all five for themselves, and a family guest or two children. And if you have a Joint Membership then you can bring a guest and up to four children, so the whole family can enjoy the days out.

But that’s certainly not all. There are over 220 Partner Gardens over the UK and overseas, from hidden gems to grand estates, and as an RHS Member you’ll have free access to all of them at selected times of the year.

Exclusive tickets and events

Aside from the gardens themselves, the RHS is perhaps most well-known for their world-renowned garden shows including the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival and RHS Malvern Spring Festival. As a member you can enjoy reduced rates on tickets to these events, and attend exclusive Members’ Days.

Outside of show season you’ll also be able to attend fascinating events, workshops and talks at these discounted rates, on subjects like seed sowing and willow weaving, and everything in between.

Access to expert advice

Becoming an RHS Member means you also have a monthly subscription to The Garden magazine, worth £59, and you can access this physically or digitally. The award-winning publication offers informative articles for gardeners of all skill levels, as well as all the latest news and events you’ll want to take advantage of.

The advice doesn’t stop at the magazine, however. Members can access unlimited, personalised gardening advice straight from a team of RHS advisors and in-house experts in plant identification, pests and diseases. No matter how big or small the question, you can contact them anytime, as often as you need, for help that’s tailored to your garden.

Become part of the seed scheme

The RHS Seed Scheme has drawn on their diverse plant collections and wealth of expertise to offer members the opportunity to access seeds harvested from RHS Gardens themselves. Covering 180 plant species, the seed list is produced each year by a small, dedicated team of staff and volunteers, who collect, clean and pack the seeds for members. As a member, you can order up to 15 packets of seeds a year, including annuals, herbaceous perennials, trees and shrubs, some of which are particularly rare or unusual.

And remember, the RHS is offering 25% off your first year which means you’ll get a whole year of access and benefits from only £55.50, instead of £74.
