Laura has created a cosy corner next to the fireplace with a modern slimline sofa and bold turquoise vases. She spotted the mirror at an antiques fair and had it repaired and repainted. You can find a similar ornate vintage-style mirror at Dunelm Mill.

Laura opted for sleek white units from Howdens so she could add colour with minty brick-shaped tiles from Johnson Tiles, and dining chairs in bright ice-cream shades. You can find similar vivid-coloured chairs at Argos.

The hallway leads into the family kitchen diner, allowing light to flood through the house from the bi-fold doors onto the garden. Laura hung pink pendant lights above the dining table to tie in with the brightly coloured dining chairs. You can find similar pendant lights from BHS.

Laura lined the back of this antique wall cabinet in the kitchen diner with bright wrapping papers and then varnished them so they'd last. You can find a similar vintage-style wall cabinet from Berry Red.

To liven up the plain hallway, Laura opted for a bold stair runner over painted stairs to create a classic look. Find colourful stair carpet at Carpet Right.

Laura's signature colours pink and aqua are continued into the bedroom. She chose modern floral bed linen to stand out against the pale backdrop, while the white metal bed gives the room a timeless feel. For similar bed linen try Debenhams.

Even Laura's daughter, Daisy, has a colourful bedroom with a striking feature wall behind her bed and a sunshine-yellow blind. Her name is spelt out in fabric-covered letters for an eye-catching feature at the top of her alcove shelves. For similar padded letters try Jonny's Sister.
