The exterior of the house has been designed to have low impact on its natural surroundings. The cladding and shutters are made from eucalyptus lattes, bound together with hand-twisted brass wire. Huge folding glass doors let light flood in.

2/8 Garden terrace
The patio has amazing views over the beach and out to sea. A bench, constructed from the same materials as the house exterior, blends in seemingly with its surroundings. The cushions add a relaxed feel.
Try Wood Empire for a similar coffee table.
3/8 Living room
The kitchen cabinets, worktops and splashback were made from sandblasted pine, showing the beauty of the wood grain. This becomes all the more stunning next to the concrete floor. A collection of sandstone tables form a centrepiece.
The tables were from Tomlinson Stonecraft.
4/8 Living room day bed
A natural wooden day bed brings a relaxed feel to the small home office. The decked floor and eucalyptus-clad walls recreate the tranquil atmosphere from outside.

5/8 Main bedroom
In the bedroom the modern lines have been softened with traditional African and Indian bedspreads, bowls and baskets. The recess in the wall, complete with a down light, makes a feature of the couple's treasured finds.
The giant cushion was from Sit On It, and you can find rugs like these at Modern Rugs.
6/8 Wet room
The built-in bath is made from sandstone, so reflects the natural look running throughout the house. Sunken, it sits next to a wet room-style shower.
Limestone Gallery Ltd have a similar bath.
7/8 Garden dining area
Two sizable dining tables pushed together create one long, and very sociable, entertainment space. At the edge of the decking, the table has stunning views across the sea and to the mountains beyond.
Find outdoor dining tables and chairs like these at Viaduct.
8/8 Swiming pool
A shower streams over a ledge into the pool, creating a stunning feature within the already breathtaking pool.
