Despite the white palette, this living room is a cosy haven thanks to the relaxed sofa, fake fur rug, fireplace, antique mirror, and accents of vivid red.
1/8 Modern cosy living room
Visit Ian Mankin for sofa fabric like this.
2/8 Classic-style hallway
The wall from the living room to the hallway was knocked down to increase the amount of light in both spaces. Antique finds bring a classic look to the design, while the black wooden floor contrasts with the white walls for a touch of drama.
Find antique frames at Lacy Gallery.
3/8 Rustic kitchen sink
The small basement kitchen, dug out by previous owners from the original cellar, has a surprisingly light feel. The white walls, pale granite worktops and open shelves marry beautifully with rustic touches to create a French farmhouse feel.
The Granite Guild sells pale granite worktops, and you can find a sink like this at B&Q.
4/8 French farmhouse-style kitchen
Weathered slate floor tiles, painted brickwork and old-style metal signs inject a rustic vibe into this kitchen. Blackboard paint has here created a practical area for lists and notes to be written.

5/8 Fairytale bedroom
This bedroom oozes fairytale charm, with a bespoke wallpaper and French-style statement bed being the focal points. Soft furnishings that reflect the tones in the wallpaper, along with boudoir-style lights complete the look.
The bed was from La Maison, and visit Osborne & Little for similar wallpaper.
6/8 Feminine bedroom accessories
Bespoke floral wallpaper has been used on the opposing bedroom wall for a cohesive look. A Tailors dummy, the distressed chest of drawers and gilt accessories bring feminine charm and a shabby chic vibe to the room.
Visit the Chic Shack for painted furniture.
7/8 Dramatic bathroom
The black roll-top bath is the centrepiece of this bathroom, particularly striking against an all-white background. The period taps and metal sign enhance the classic design of the bath, while the modern palette adds a pleasing contrast.
Go to Drummonds for a roll-top bath like this.
8/8 Simple urban-style bathroom
White metro-style tiles that cover this entire shower, are perfect for a simple, urban feel. The cascade traditional shower head continues the pared-down look.
Find a similar shower at Homebase, and tiles from Fired Earth.
