This living room marries modern lines with cosy opulence. Laura wanted the shell of the room to have a contemporary vibe, so she lowered the ceiling to hide the old rosette and to allow for spotlights.

A wall was knocked down to create a large open-plan living/dining room, that's perfect for the kids to do their homework, as well as for entertaining. Mix-and-match photo frames to create an eye-catching photo gallery along the shelf.
