The splashback behind the range cooker is made from Triton Metallica glass tiles and complements the clear-glass square doorknobs from Oliver Bonas that were chosen for the drawers and cabinet doors.

The slate worktop combines with walnut veneer cabinetry by Clayton Cabinets and solid oak flooring to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Adding a separate De Dietrich hob and Miele oven allows the owners to turn their Redfyre range cooker off in the summer. The clock is by Newgate. This bread drawer is within a slimline 30cm-wide cabinet by Clayton Cabinets, which is big enough to store a full loaf, plus bagels and baps. Replacing the standard bread bin, it frees up worktop space.
