All that glitters: Mariah Carey is set to double her money on her Bel Air mansion
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon put their LA mansion on the market this month for nearly $13 million. Yes that's TWICE what they paid for it
She might be famous for singing soppy love songs, but when it comes
to real estate, Mariah Carey is all business.
Earlier this month the 'Always Be My Baby' singer listed the house she shares with husband Nick Cannon for $13 million according to RealEstalker.
If that sounds like a lot of money, wait until you find out that's almost twice the amount they bought it for in 2009.

To spell it out (sorry to do this), if they sell the property for the asking price the showbiz couple will have made a tidy profit of $6 million in just five years.
Any potential new owner will be getting a lot of house for their money, though, as the seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion comes complete with a basketball court, recording studio, movie theatre and gym.
Yes, you heard that right - the house has its own full-sized basketball court, in case Nick or Mariah fancy shooting some hoops after a long day at the recording studio.

Worried there won't be space for your vintage car collection? Relax, the estate has parking for more than 20 cars.
The interior is reassuringly glitzy, too. From the gold and marble bathroom to the folding/sliding patio doors this home is all about the glamour. Understated it's NOT, but then, what were you expecting?
So if you've got a spare $13 million burning a hole in your pocket, take a look at the details over at Rodeo Realty.
