2020 has been a strange year that has fundamentally changed how we use our homes. Many of us are now using our living rooms as home offices, gyms and a space to relax. This has lead to an increased in demand for flexible products that can be used in multi-functional spaces.
The Argos Metal Space Saving Christmas tree has been inspired by this demand. The sleek and slender 5ft tree is the perfect addition to smaller rooms, that might struggle for space when it comes to decorating.
A metal black finish of the tree is a minimal spin on the classic festive look. However, the best part is that you can still decorate it like a normal tree.
Fairy lights can be wrapped around the frame. While baubles and other decorations can be hung from the tree. It can even be topped off with a tree topper of your choice. Priced at £40, this versatile decoration can be updated and customised year after year.
Argos has seen a staggering number of customers getting into the Christmas spirit. They have already sold 39,000 trees, a 95 per cent increase on the same time last year.
While the bestselling trees continue to be the 6 ft and 7 ft versions, Argos has seen big growth in smaller trees. Trees that are 4 ft and under have been the biggest areas of growth, up 107 per cent on last year.
'This year, more than ever, we've seen a demand for innovative designs for small spaces, and Christmas trees are no exception,' says Amy Hollington, Senior Buyer.
