Short of packing a bag and settling in on the furniture floor of your favourite department store, opportunities to thoroughly try out the furniture and accessories pieces you are looking to buy are few.
Now modern furniture retailer BoConcept is cleverly unlocking the door to its new and biggest collection to date in a very jet-set way that lets customers get a truer test of its range.
The Danish brand has acquired one flat in each of three major cities - Dubai, New Jersey and Berlin - and is offering either the chance to book one as a holiday rental for an amazingly reasonable £60 per night or, for the truly lucky, the opportunity to win a city break stay in one.

The apartments are fully furnished from the BoConcept 2015 range, but each is uniquely decorated by a local interior designer and is meant to reflect the city it's in.
The opportunity to put the beds, sofas, tables and chairs, to the test - for the three-day maximum at least - is an innovative and customer-focused slant on try-before-you-buy and a smart way to take customer interaction to a new place.
