A wine cellar, mineral water on tap and a Carrie Bradshaw-style walk-in closet: the must-have list for high-flying Surrey suburbanites, darling
It's one of the most affluent postcodes in the country, so you would expect prospective Virgina Water residents to be a little bit fussy, but a new wish-list complied by estate agents to the rich and famous, Barton Wyatt reveals a list of riders fit for a king (or footballers' wife!)
Fancy being neighbours with Elton John? You won't be the only one looking for a property with a bit of bling in Virginia Water, Surrey.
Estate Agent Barton Wyatt has put together a hot-list of what the well-heeled businessmen and footballers' wives are
Virginia Water is one of the UK's most exclusive places to live - the seventh most expensive postal district in the country, according to property website Zoopla.co.uk, where you won't get much change from £1 million.
Aside from the beautiful location, there's plenty to attract the rich and famous to the area. Wentworth estate and golf club draws the affluent, yet this is also Footballers' wives territory; Chelsea's training ground is in nearby Cobham.
What would your dream home include? Ok, so we'd all love perfect storage. Ideally, something along the lines of Carrie Bradshaw's walk-in closet. Everything on tap - literally. Constant-boiling taps in the kitchen; music streaming wirelessly from room to room.
Ah, but would-be buyers in this Surrey enclave want so much more.
Super-size rooms are must-have to impress guests – huge main bedroom suites, lavish spaces for entertaining including a kitchen complete with wine cellar, dining area and seating for lots of guests.

Mr and Mrs Bath suites in spacious luxury bathrooms, perhaps with a flat-screen TV at the end of the bath, or in the Jacuzzi.
And Garages. No, not a neat little space to house your Fiesta – think more Tony Stark’s ‘Iron Man’ underground garage with a lift to whisk cars out of sight. Oh, and garages should be temperature-controlled, too.
Top 13 must-haves, according to Barton Wyatt:
1 Dressing room 2 Constant boiling tap 3 Music streaming system 4 Mr and Mrs bath suite 5 Wine cellar 6 80in flat screen 3D Hd TVs 7 Landscaped gardens with built-in irrigation and eco features.
8 Underground garaging - for several cars 9 Super-size rooms 10 State of the art security 11 Staff accomodation 12 Universal mobile phone coverage 13 Storage space
Well, we can all dream.
