Love me tender: Elvis Presley's Palm Springs honeymoon pad is up for sale for £5.6 million
The modernist property where the Presleys spent the first days of their marriage is up for sale in Palm Springs. And it's even got its own celebrity real estate agent!
Want to bag yourself a slice of rock 'n' roll history? The plush Palm Springs pad where Elvis spent the first few days of his marriage to Priscilla Presley in 1967, has just come on the market for £5.6 million.
The modernist mansion where Elvis and Priscilla spent their honeymoon
obviously got the loved-up couple's seal of approval - nine months later
their daughter Lisa Marie was born.
To add to its star-studded credentials the property is being marketed by celebrity real estate agents The Altman Brothers, who are featured in hit US reality show Million Dollar Listing.

The house, located at Ladera Circle in Palm Springs is a great example of modernist architecture, built with a mixture of glass and stonework in a circular arrangement over three levels.
With four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a huge kitchen diner and open-plan living space, the property features striking mid-century details, including a low-level white leather sofa that stretches across an entire (circular) wall.
The master bedroom suite where Elvis and Priscilla spent their honeymoon
offers panoramic views of the Santa Rosa mountains.

In addition to the plush interior, the beautifully manicured gardens include a swimming pool, a
tennis court and fruit orchard.
So, if you fancy bagging yourself a little piece of history, then why not
go for this plush pad? You'll need a fair bit of cash though!
Back in 1966 Elvis rented the property for around a year and paid £12,500, which is a tiny sum when you consider it is now on the market for £5.68 million.
Over the years many movies have been
filmed at the property including Elvis and Me and Elvis by the
Presleys.
