Step inside Paul Hollywood's former period home in Kent
Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood has got a knack for modern country interior decor - as his stunning former home attests
If you step inside Paul Hollywood's former Kent home it becomes clear that he's a big fan of country style.
The Great British Bake Off judge has put his four-bed property on the market earlier this year after living there for 12 years with his wife and son. The property was listed for sale for £795,000 with Fine & Country.
Perched in a sleepy village near the historic town of Canterbury, the stunning 13th century property is regarded as one of the country's oldest private homes - with some parts of the cellar even dating back to the Roman period.
The home is studded with charcoal beams, a chunky medieval front door and 600-year-old lead windows.
You would be right in thinking this Grade I listed home is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside.
The kitchen is obviously the main attraction in one of the UK's most acclaimed baker's former home.
Under a slanted roof spotted with bright skylights, high tech gadgets offer the baking enthusiast all they might need to whisk up a showstopper, whilst elements such as the range cooker and terracotta floor add to the cosy country ethos of the home.

Breads, biscuits and bakes could be served up in a beautiful dining room with old wooden flooring, and just down the corridor sits the spacious living room.
Boasting not one but two inglenooks under a maze of beams running in all directions, this cosy snug is the perfect spot to hunker down to a marathon of The Great British Bake Off.
Upstairs, guests are treated to a private two-bed suite accessed via its own staircase.
But it is the master bedroom that steals the show in this house. Perched at the top of the princess tower, the luxurious bedroom also has its own staircase that guides you to a bathroom with an impressive vaulted ceiling.
Outside, a walled garden features a beautiful pergola, blossoming flowers and manicured hedgerows.
