The Great British Bake Off gets a mini makeover by Lego
CUTE FACTOR: Legoland Windsor has made an exact replica of the iconic set using more than 12,000 Lego bricks and miniature edible cakes.

As ovens across the country are pre-heating in anticipation of the new series of The Great British Bake Off, Legoland Windsor has given us fans a sweet treat with its own Lego miniature version of the brilliant baking show but with fewer calories.
The Bake Off scene took the resort's talented Model Making team 86 hours
to build and includes the main Great British Bake Off tent plus the
judging tent as well as 11cm-high Lego recreations of presenting duo Mel and Sue, judges Paul Hollywood and
Mary Berry.
The team has paid close attention to detail and inside the tent are Lego
workstations, judging table and culinary gizmos galore.
Legoland Windsor's PR Manager explains the scene: 'The Great British Bake Off has become such a British institution so we wanted to celebrate the summer and bring it to life in Miniland.'
It is amazing how much detail has been captured at 6cm high. Guests to Legoland will be able to see Model Makers mini Lego versions of past winners and, as soon as they are announced, the new contestants in Series 7 will be created and added. As the show progresses, contestants will be removed one by one every week to mirror the results of the competition.
As
well as Bake Off champions old and new there are also the sweetest tiny versions of
the final signature bakes to marvel at.
The Bake Off scene will be showcased in Miniland at Legoland Windsor Resort alongside some of the world's most famous landmarks in amazingly accurate miniature detail until the Bake Off finishes airing in November.
