Simple Solutions: how to make oaty bath milk
Give loved ones the gift of indulgence with a home-made bath-time treat
Home-made presents express more love than something brand-new and are invariably cheaper, too. A little creativity goes a long way - give friends a gift they'll really appreciate.
A natural bath milk is easier to make than you might think - give one as a thank-you gift. Oatmeal milk baths combine the soothing properties of milk and oatmeal, both of which are associated with reducing skin redness and irritation.
Simply whizz together one cup of powdered milk, half a cup of oatmeal, half a cup of bicarbonate of sofa, sprig of dried lavender and the contents of two chamomile tea bags in a food mixer. Decant the mixture into a lidded glass jar and write on a label: Swirl half a cup of this mix into your bath under warm running water. Present with a scoop. Treat a friend this Christmas!
