We show you the basics of flower arranging to help you create the perfect decoration for your home.
In this episode of Simple Solutions we show you the basics of flower arranging
Step 1. Choose a hero flower or an odd number of blooms
Step 2. Prepare them by trimming the stems. Refresh in hand-hot water - this opens up the petals.
Step 3. Measure up. The longest stem should be one and a half to two times the height of the vase.
Step 4. Start with filler, then pretty foliage (with the stems stripped)
Step 5. Place your hero flowers in the vase. Space them evenly
Step 6. Add an accent with smaller flowers in a contrasting colour and texture.Enjoy your beautiful bouquet that you’ve made in less than 5 mins!
